Sarah graduated from Curtin University in 1994 and since then, she has combined her love of travel and sport throughout her physiotherapy career.  She has worked in Europe and across Australia with elite athletes from such diverse sports as rowing, cricket, Aussie Rules, tennis, basketball and rugby.

In addition to her love of managing sporting injuries, she also is passionate about developing effective and lasting management plans for other musculoskeletal conditions. Sarah has a strong interest in treating adolescent sporting injuries and has spent many winter mornings on the sideline covering Guildford Grammar rugby matches.  Otherwise, she spends her spare time as an unpaid uber driver for her four young children and loves to get out on the water fishing whenever possible.

Rourke Moynihan
Senior Physiotherapist

Rourke is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy.

Rourke has recently joined the team at Midland Physiotherapy after working at private physio
practices in Perth and also when travelling around Australia, which has included stints in practices in Tasmania and Arnhem Land. Adding to his experience, he has had the opportunity to work with various sporting teams, including Perth Heat Baseball, East Perth Football Club and the AFL WA Women’s State Football team.

Outside of work, Rourke is involved in a number of sports including cycling, hockey and rowing.
More recently he has taken up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and enjoying the opportunity to personally test his own rehab methods.

Sarah is an experienced Physiotherapist with over 30 years industry musculoskeletal experience. She has a special interest in Cognitive Functional Techniques and is currently undergoing further, extensive training in this area, centred around low back pain.

Her holistic approach has involved extra training in Nutrition as well as breathing disorders and techniques.

Sarah heads up our Pilates team, running Clinical Pilates sessions and training other physiotherapists in Pilates.

Sarah has worked with many sporting teams, including an AFL club, Rugby League and Rugby Union. She has been heavily involved in netball in the past as well as years of road cycling. More recently, in the last 7 years, Sarah has been involved in the local Crossfit Community, training regularly at The Crossfit Chamber in Belmont. Hiking, walking her Staffordshire Bull Terrier, gardening on their hills property and family adventures are her other passions.

Jonathan graduated with a Physiotherapy degree from Curtin University, and has worked in a variety of settings ranging from residential care, hospital and private practice. 

Jonathan has a passion for delivering individually tailored physiotherapy to all his clients, and blends manual therapy with exercise therapy to help clients achieve their functional goals.

He can usually be found struggling to balance exercise with indulging on good food. Recently however, most of his spare time is spent lounging around with his cat whilst looking after his new baby boy.
