Physiotherapy
Physiotherapists have advanced skills in the assessment, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions. These skills assist the medical practitioner with accurate, cost effective diagnosis and appropriate evidence based management.
Treatment techniques utilised by Physiotherapists are varied and may differ from therapist to therapist. Most techniques can be classified as either manual therapy or exercise therapy. Manual therapy describes techniques performed by the Physiotherapist on the patient directly. This includes joint mobilisation and manipulation, massage, and stretching.

Our Massage Therapists work closely with our Physiotherapists to generate an excellent rehabilitation program for our patients. Many of our patients utilise both our Physiotherapists and our Massage Therapist in the management of their conditions.

Hydrotherapy is water based exercise rehabilitation designed to facilitate the recovery process. Small groups are run at Bayswater Waves pool. Our trained physiotherapists always provide an individualised program to suit your problem.
We also run arthritis classes in the pool. The arthritis class is water based exercise and is an excellent way to manage the symptoms associated with arthritis.
When: Tuesday, Thursday 11am – 12pm

- Mat Pilates classes incorporate Pilates exercises to improve strength and muscle activation of key areas including postural muscles, gluteals and the muscles surrounding your shoulder blade.
- Suitable for those wanting to participate in low-impact exercise to help improve over-all muscle tone and flexibility.
- We do require our patients who have not had any recent Clinical Pilates experience to under-go an initial assessment so we can be sure this class is suitable and safe for you.
